Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Beats of Bharat, we strive to provide the best experience for all participants. This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds and cancellations related to event registrations, auditions, and services.

1. General Policy

  • All registration fees are non-refundable unless specified otherwise for particular events
  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing to cofounder@youthmusic.in
  • Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 7-14 business days
  • The refund amount will be credited to the original payment method

2. Event Registration Cancellations

2.1 Cancellation by Participant

More than 15 days before the event:

50% refund of registration fee (after deducting processing charges)

7-14 days before the event:

25% refund of registration fee (after deducting processing charges)

Less than 7 days before the event:

No refund will be provided

2.2 Cancellation by Beats of Bharat

If an event is cancelled or postponed by Beats of Bharat due to unforeseen circumstances:

  • Full Refund: 100% of the registration fee will be refunded
  • Alternative Option: Credit note for future events of equal or greater value
  • Rescheduled Events: Your registration will automatically transfer to the new date, or you may request a full refund

3. Audition Submission Fees

  • Audition submission fees are non-refundable once the submission has been processed
  • If technical issues prevent successful submission, contact us within 24 hours for assistance or a refund
  • Rejection or non-selection in auditions does not qualify for a refund

4. Workshop and Training Programs

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the start date: 50% refund
  • Cancellations made within 7 days: No refund
  • No refunds after the program has commenced
  • Missed sessions due to personal reasons are not eligible for refunds

5. Special Circumstances

Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis for:

  • Medical emergencies (with valid documentation)
  • Family emergencies
  • Natural disasters or force majeure events

All special circumstance requests must be submitted with supporting documentation to cofounder@youthmusic.in

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • Payment gateway processing fees
  • Administrative processing charges
  • Digital content or materials already accessed or downloaded
  • Certificates or completion documents issued
  • Promotional or discounted registration fees (unless event is cancelled by us)

7. Refund Processing

Once a refund is approved:

  • Processing time: 7-14 business days
  • Bank transfer processing: Additional 5-7 business days depending on your bank
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during registration
  • You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been processed

8. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

To request a cancellation or refund:

  1. Send an email to cofounder@youthmusic.in
  2. Include your registration details (name, event name, registration ID)
  3. Clearly state the reason for cancellation
  4. Attach any supporting documents (if applicable)
  5. Wait for confirmation and approval from our team

9. Transfers and Substitutions

  • Registration may be transferred to another participant with prior approval
  • Transfer requests must be made at least 7 days before the event
  • A nominal transfer fee may apply
  • Contact us at cofounder@youthmusic.in for transfer requests

10. Dispute Resolution

If you have concerns about a refund decision, please contact us at cofounder@youthmusic.in. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

Beats of Bharat reserves the right to modify this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
